Privacy & storage
This page explains the current free Gaming Coach preview. It describes the application's own data handling and the limits of keeping review records in a browser.
Browser storage
The app saves session details, entered statistics, review notes, timestamps, frozen practice plans and practice logs in IndexedDB in your browser profile. Local storage remembers your light or dark theme. It does not upload those records or send them to a model, analytics or game-data service.
Opening the site makes network requests for application files. The Vercel hosting service receives normal request information such as IP address and browser headers. This page does not promise the hosting provider's own log retention. Links to MacL leave this site.
There is no account, cloud backup or synchronization. Anyone with access to the same browser profile can access its workspace. Private browsing, storage clearing, browser removal, device loss or quota limits can remove or prevent saves. Export a backup somewhere you control.
Local video
The browser receives temporary access to the MP4/WebM file you select. It plays that local file without sending it to a server. The app stores only a reference: filename, byte size, modification time and duration. It does not retain the video bytes or generate a video transcript, screenshot archive or cloud copy.
Reselect the recording after a reload, unload or session switch. Metadata matching helps identify a likely file, but it does not authenticate footage. Only select recordings you have permission to use. Consider other people's voices, handles and private information before exporting or sharing your notes or recordings elsewhere.
Exports and deletion
A workspace backup contains every stored session, moment, plan snapshot and practice log. Session and plan JSON reports contain the selected records and their context. Moments CSV contains the selected session's notes and timestamps. Printed reports contain the visible review or practice material. These files do not include video bytes and are not encrypted by this app.
Deleting a session removes its current moments but retains existing plans' frozen source snapshots. Delete those plans as well to remove their retained session data; doing so also removes the associated practice logs. Remove individual practice logs from their task. Exported copies must be deleted separately.
To erase the whole local workspace, clear this site's IndexedDB and local storage in your browser settings. There is no server-side account record to delete or recover. The app cannot recall exported files or erase copies on another device. Backup restoration is a confirmed whole-workspace replacement.
Public content and future services
The public sitemap contains only the product page, guide and this page. Local session records have no public URL and are not part of site metadata or search content. Search indexing does not publish or back up your workspace.
Direct accounts, Google sign-in, game-provider connections, hosted sharing and purchases are not available in this preview. Their data handling and access controls must be documented and verified before release. Read the guide for supported inputs, calculations and limits.
Practice measurements
Success criteria, conditions, targets and recorded counts stay in this browser workspace with the other practice records. Archived protocols remain in exports. Plan reports and practice CSV include these details; inspect them before sharing. Backups include all protocols and logs. Removing a plan removes its protocols and logs. No practice data is uploaded or used to infer a game rank.
